Ronald Hardy, Aquaculture, Food Security, and the Marine Environment

  • Ronald Hardy

Ronald Hardy is an international expert in fish nutrition and serves as Director of the Aquaculture Research Institute at the University of Idaho. As a veteran of aquaculture science and fish nutrition for the past 40 years, he has spent the last 25 years conducting research to improve sustainability and reduce environmental impacts of fish feeds used throughout the world. He participated in the FSE Food and Nutrition Policy Symposium Series on October 27, 2016.

The Food and Nutrition Policy Symposium Series brings leading experts to Stanford to share new research in an integrated, ten-lecture series on global food and nutrition policy. The series follows on the success of the two-year Global Food Policy and Food Security Symposium Series that concluded in May 2013. We thank Zach Nelson and Elizabeth Horn for their generous support of the symposium series, in honor of Phillip Falcon.
